We invite you to participate! The Walla Walla Diversity Coalition was formed in 1994 to promote communication, respect, and understanding among all members of the human community. The Walla Walla Diversity Coalition seeks to prevent discrimination against, and promotes cooperation among all members of the human community, regardless of culture, color, religion, gender, sexual identity, national or ethnic origin, age, handicap, or other differences. The Coalition would like to thank the following 2013 Freedom from Discrimination Month sponsors: Walla Walla Community College, The Walla Walla Union Bulletin and Whitman College.

Coalition Meetings are open to the public, including agenda time for any new concerns regarding ethnic or cultural relations in our community which may be presented by any member of the public. Anyone interested in the work the coalition does is welcome to attend the next meeting, or to contact Dan Clark at clarkdn@charter.net or 509-522-0399.

MULTICULTURAL ARTS FESTIVAL MOVES TO SEPTEMBER

Every year our festival celebrates the diversity in the Walla Walla area. The festival will be at Pioneer Park on September 25, 2016. It opens at 11 a.m. and continues until 6 p.m.

Other Resources

The hope of a culturally rich, diverse and tolerant future is widespread. Many of the goals of the Walla Walla Diversity Coalition are shared by a variety individuals and organizations in our community.
